Introducing an Industrial Transformation Strategy
Stratasys brought on a new CEO in 2020 and a new “North Star” strategy followed: to focus on additive manufacturing solutions for the entire product value chain, going far beyond the traditional 3D printing industry focus on prototyping. This further required articulating a clear purpose to guide the company, which we developed through extensive research and engagement with multiple audiences - to empower people to create without limits - brought to life with a Create Unlimited creative platform.

Being effective in advancing this strategy required alignment across multiple communications functions. For example, we helped leading industry analysts at firms such as Gartner and ABI Research to understand additive manufacturing’s advantages over traditional manufacturing including for industry-specific segments such as the automotive industry and consumer packaged goods. We collaborated with the World Economic Forum on their report, An Additive Manufacturing Breakthrough. And we worked closely with business unit marketing teams to connect product launches and trade shows to the corporate manufacturing narrative to help generate the right kind of leads for the business.
