Launching an AI Start-Up in Business Media
Conversational AI pioneer IPsoft needed to reach senior decision-makers at Fortune 500 companies interested in being early users of their new platform, Amelia. We defined messaging to differentiate conversational from other AI forms at a time when nothing like it existed and created a short, simple video to illustrate a consumer-friendly use case. We then worked on an exclusive embargoed front page business story weeks ahead of a customer event to really attract C-level attention. This included providing access to a pilot customer and giving the journalist access to a demo. CNBC and Bloomberg broadcast opportunities followed, as did C-level business inquiries. The visibility helped set up a packed-room presentation at SXSW Interactive.
